Format of Paper
  1. Total Marks = 40
  2. Time Duration = 1 hour
Bring:
  1. Foolscap papers (all answers to be written on foolscap papers)
  2. Approved calculators
INSTRUCTION
  • Do not turn over the page until you are told to do so.
  • Write your name, class and index number on all the work submitted.
  • Write in dark blue or black pen on both sides of the paper.
  • You may use a pencil for any diagrams or graphs.
  • Answer all questions in foolscap papers or graph paper.
  • If working is needed for any question it must be shown with the answer.
  • Omission of essential working will result in loss of marks.
  • Calculators should be used where appropriate.
  • If the degree of accuracy is not specified in the question, and if the answer is not exact, give the answer to three significant figures. Use Pto be 3.142, unless the question requires the answer in terms of PI.
  • At the end of the common test, staple all your work securely together. Question papers are to be handed in separately.
  • The number of marks is given in brackets [   ] at the end of each question or part question.
  • The total marks for this paper is 40.
